Prosecco and a Onesie. Hello 2017!

Well 2016, it’s time to say farewell. Overall, you’ve been great (aside from not giving me my prince charming).

I went on my first solo trip to Israel, was a bridesmaid in two of my close friends weddings, purchased my first condo, and have held a full-time position at an amazing company. Definitely a lot of memories and milestones to be proud of!

Knowing that my mom got married at 25, and as I start watching my friends getting engaged and married off, does make me feel a bit pressured to do the same. I’ve learned this past year more about the type of man I need in my life; one that won’t play games, is ambitious, mature and close with his family. That’s not so much to ask for, right?

In case you were wondering, the last guy I wrote about ending up being commitment phobic and decided he wasn’t ready for a relationship after our 4th date. I was crushed, but eventually came to terms with the fact that I deserve better.

So tonight, I will be having a low-key New Years in my comfiest onesie, and drink one to many glasses of prosecco alongside the people that are most important to me. I will not wallow in sadness for still being single. I am optimistic that 2017 will come with new adventures and experiences that will hopefully lead to love. In fact – I already have a date lined up for Monday.

Dessert, Netflix and Chill 2016

As mentioned in my last post, Cody and I have been talking non-stop since our coffee date this past Sunday. It was safe to say we were quite smitten with one another!

A few days ago, Cody wrote to me saying we should hang out again this week. I asked him what he was up to on New Years Eve. He had nothing planned yet, so I suggested.. “We could always do a dessert, Netflix and chill at my place.” He really liked the idea, so plans were set and I anxiously awaited Thursday Eve’s arrival.

He walked in at 8PM sharp with literally a duffle bag of New Years supplies. We took it into the kitchen and started unpacking everything. Pop Chips, Belgium Chocolates, Perrier, Tequila… I knew this was going to be one crazy night.

My parents had already gone out but my sister was still upstairs and anxiously wanted to meet him. After giving him a tour of the basement and main floor, we made our way upstairs and I introduced them. They seemed to get along pretty well. In fact, they bonded so much that he even gave her a shot of his tequila!

At 8:30 she got picked up and it was finally just the two of us. It was time to get this New Years Party for two started!

He poured himself some more tequila and I took out a bottle of ice wine. It had a cork, and so I asked him to help out opening it with the bottle opener.

“Keep twisting it! Okay now lift the arms up. Drill it in a bit harder. It may not be going deep enough into the cork.”

At that point I burst into laughter because everything coming out of my mouth just sounded dirty and sexual. He started laughing too and I could tell he was feeling a bit embarrassed that he couldn’t figure out how to open in.

Thank God for Google Search – which explained all we had to do was peel off the plastic rim at the top and sure enough the cork slid out easily. A good 15 minutes later – and that ice wine was ready to be poured. We brought some popcorn, chocolate and our drinks into the living room. He went to the washroom, and while waiting I thought to put on some of my music. An Israeli track came on, which gave me an idea.

As he walked back towards the living room I motioned for him to come towards me and said we should dance.

“Ugh, no – I can’t dance!”

“Come on, if a sexy girl came up to you in a club and put her arms around you and asked to dance, you would turn it down?”

He couldn’t argue that one – so we started dancing close up against one another, moving to the Israeli beats. I could feel my heart beating so quickly. We looked into each others eyes and went in for the first kiss! Unlike my kiss in the real club, this one was definitely more passionate and romantic. I didn’t want it to end…

It felt so good to have that first kiss out of the way. After it happened, we just felt completely comfortable around one another – as if I’d known him for a lot longer than a few weeks.

We picked out a movie on Netflix and got nice and comfy on a couch – spooning towards the TV.

It wasn’t long before we ripped each others shirts off. Oh sweet Jesus – that 6 pack! ;)

Cody was such a passionate kisser and I was really enjoying getting to know him more – both on a physical and emotional level. The fact that he was respectful the entire night and only did what I felt comfortable with, made me like him that much more.

1 minute to midnight. We poured some more drinks and stood up to start the countdown.

10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1..

HAPPY NEW YEAR! We clinked glasses and kissed. I couldn’t have asked to start 2016 off on a better note.

By 1:30PM – I got a text from my parents saying they just picked my sister up and were on their way home. Shit! I told Cody and he responded with.. “I love meeting parents. Let’s do this.”

I couldn’t believe how comfortable he was to meet my entire family on our second date. When they walked in – he shook hands with both my parents and started schmoozing with my dad right away about their passion for cooking. We all sat down for a bit and chatted. The whole situation felt surprisingly comfortable, which made me feel very relieved.

At 2:30 we were all exhausted – so my parents went up and it was time to say goodnight to Cody. I walked him to the door and we kissed one more time before he left.

SO – 2016 is definitely off to a good start. I am so happy to have a job that I’m passionate about, great family and friends, the most amazing blog followers, and I can’t wait to see where my love adventure will take me this year. Hope all of you will stay along for the ride!!

A Christmas Eve to Remember

Merry Christmas to all my fellow bloggers and readers! Hope you all made it on Santa’s nice list this year…

As I don’t celebrate Christmas, I usually just order in Chinese food and go out to see a movie with friends. However, this year I found out about a Christmas Eve party for Jewish singles at a nightclub downtown, so my friends and I decided to go check it out. I threw on a sexy pair of black leather leggings and halter crop top – and was ready to go meet and mingle!

The party started at 9 – so I figured we’d go an hour later (who goes to a nightclub right when the party starts??) We arrived there for 10:15, walked inside and lo and behold it was virtually empty. There were about 10 people hanging out by the bar, and a group of 5-6 girls on the dance floor swaying their hips to Israeli beats. We wanted to check our coats in, but the security guard told us that the coat check wouldn’t be open for another half hour. So we went over to the bar to get a drink… I had to pay $8 for a vodka cranberry which was ridiculous. At this point – we were feeling like this party may be a complete bust but decided to stick it out for a little while longer to see if more people would trickle in.

Sure enough by 11:30 – crowds of cute singles started making their way into the nightclub. We kicked ourselves for getting there so early – I guess you live and learn.

Everyone headed upstairs to the second level – and it was a completely differently experience than the first floor. It was dark and the DJ was blaring top 100 mixes. Private bottle service sections were set up and there was a huge dance floor with a disco ball hanging in the center with lights flashing from every direction. This was more my scene!

My friends and I grabbed another drink and made our way to the dance floor. We started swaying our hips to J Biebz and Calvin Harris. Swarms of people were dancing around us and eyeing us head to toe. Men started attacking us like vultures from left, right and center.

A pretty tall, attractive looking guy approached me and asked if I wanted to dance. I thought why not, so I wrapped my hands around his neck and his hands automatically went straight to my butt. Oh god… I went with it for a little bit.

“I have to tell you, you have a really sexy body”. I was flattered – but could already tell this guy was just looking to have a good time. “Are you from Toronto, Max?” “No – Montreal. I’m just visiting until the new year”. Red flag #2. He flipped me around and started to full out grind against me and at that point I was ready to get away from this guy.

I gave one of my girlfriends the bulged eye look and she took that as a cue to rescue me. We moved locations and continued dancing.

It was certainly an ego-boost to have so many men approach us and want to dance. I had to pull the boyfriend excuse for a few that were either 4 inches too short or were too drunk to have any sort of conversation.

My eyes were closed and I was letting my body move to the DJ’s beats. I opened my eyes for a second and sure enough saw another guy approaching me. He was tall and had a cute smile. I was a little tipsy at this point and happily accepted a dance with him. He put his hands on my shoulders which was a little awkward (but kind of adorable) and I had to push them down to my waist (clearly, he doesn’t go to the clubs much). We were singing out the lyrics to the songs and swaying our bodies together. From the little ear to ear conversation we had – I learned we were from the same suburban city, he had a full-time job and was a year older than me. Check, check and check!

He offered to buy me a drink which I happily accepted. I can officially cross that off my bucket list. We went back to the dance floor and continued dancing with both of our friends.

I don’t know if it was the alcohol or the fact that we just found each other really cute but he looked directly at me and went in for a kiss! PDA on the dance floor… another first. It wasn’t very long, but I was a little in seventh heaven.

The clock struck 1AM and I, Cinderella, had to run to make it on the last subway train. Which sucked, because the party was in full gear at that point! I could tell this guy was clearly interested in me, but had yet to ask for my # so I simply wrote his name in my phone and gave it to him. He happily added his number in and I told him I’d text him. He kissed me once more goodnight which was unexpected and then my friends and I quickly grabbed our coats and headed out.

I woke up this morning – and still can’t stop smiling while writing this. Hopefully you all had an equally fun and entertaining Christmas Eve as me.

Sinking the Balls

Six weeks post-surgery and I’m finally back in the dating game!

Almost a year ago, I got matched with Mathew on Tinder. We messaged each other back and forth for a few weeks and I seem to recall we had tried making plans to meet up, but for some reason or another the timing just didn’t work out. He was finishing up his business program and was off to Argentina to spend his final co-op semester there. We decided to stay connected over Facebook with the possibility of meeting when he returned – but our conversation simply faded away when he left.

Fast forward to two weeks following my operation. AB and I started talking less and less. He never came to visit me which was disappointing and my intuition was telling me to move on. Being housebound, I decided to get cozy on my couch and begin to update my dating profiles with new pictures (I look like a totally different person now!) I began to start my search into the new crop of men that had entered the world of online dating.

Sure enough, at the top of my search list on PofF – appeared Mathew! I had almost forgotten about him. His profile said he was back in town, looking for a relationship, and still lived in my neighbourhood. I decided there was no harm in sending him a private Facebook message to see how he was doing.

He responded, and again, we started writing back and forth. We caught up a bit on both of our lives – and I explained to him about my jaw surgery which he seemed really interested in. About a week into our conversation – I asked if he’d still be open to meeting up for drinks. He said yes! I agreed for him to pick me up at 8:30PM last night and we’d go to a local pub to play some pool and have a drink. Not that I usually advocate having someone you’ve never met before pick you up on a first date – but I thought this guy was harmless and that it was unlikely he’d kidnap me.

He arrived right at 8:30PM. My stomach churned with nerves but mostly excitement. As I entered his car, he said hello in a deep, sexy voice and I immediately melted. He was gorgeous and smelt divine. Mathew pulled out the GPS on his phone to locate the closest pubs and once we settled on one – away we went. Despite my minor recovery lisp – we managed to have a really great car ride conversation – talking about our family, and places we’ve traveled to.

We arrived at the pub and when we began walking towards the entrance, I noticed he was very tall – probably 6’1! No faults so far…

The pub wasn’t huge but there was a private area in the centre with a pool table and a few tables and chairs. Nobody was there so we joked about how he had reserved the section just for us. We placed our coats down and went to the bar to order drinks. This was my first drink post-surgery, and it was amazing! It was nice to finally drink something besides ensure shakes and apple juice…

We placed our drinks down and started playing a game of pool. We flat out admitted at the beginning we were both horrible at pool – but would still give it our best go. Now I’m not sure if it was the few sips of alcohol in me or my new found confidence, but I was sinking those balls in one after the next. ;) Poor Mathew wasn’t having as easy a time, and told me I must have been lying and that I’ve been playing this game all my life. He seemed quite impressed. When I got 3 in a row, he said, “well done” and put his hand out to shake mine but I playfully said “no, I think that deserves a hug!” Seriously – am I the same person?! He opened his arms and embraced me in a warm hug which I could have easily held onto the rest of the night.

I ended up winning and gave myself a little pat on the back. We then sunk the remaining balls and sat down at our table where the drinks were. We opened up so much to one another – which I thought was incredible for a first date! He asked to see before and after pictures of my surgery which I was a bit hesitant to show, but I agreed to it and he was blown away. He really didn’t think it was the same person. Surely – it was! I loved how interested he was in my life, my stories and my surgery. He in turn was so open with me about his life – his family, childhood and even surgeries he had gone through. Most importantly – we bonded over our love for word games and N64. We both play an addicting phone app called Words with Friends (kind of like a virtual game of Scrabble which I highly recommend everyone play!)

It was 11PM and I knew we should probably head back soon as we had work the next day. Mathew also had to get up early but kept saying, “whatever you want, I’m cool to stay until whenever” – it was exciting that he wasn’t the one to mention having to leave. That he genuinely wanted to spend more time with me. As the night went on, it got busier and another group of people started playing pool. I could tell there were a few girls staring over at us and I kept thinking – how lucky am I to be with this incredible, gorgeous guy. Truly… I have no clue why he’s still single but I didn’t want to bring that up on a first date.

Anyway – I made the decision for us to leave at 11:15PM. We got into his car and blasted the heater (it’s freezing in Toronto so it was nice to get cozy). He drove us back to my house and parked the car. Ugh… the moment – will he kiss me? I damn well wanted to kiss him! However, I can’t feel my bottom lip… literally. I’m still numb and was kind of curious to see what I could and couldn’t feel in a kiss after 6 weeks.

Unfortunately I didn’t get a kiss. However, the first thing he said when we parked was that he had a great time and would love to see me again – even suggesting we go see a movie next week. I was over the moon excited, but stayed cool and responded with, “I’d love that.” He hugged me goodnight and I told him to drive home safe. I got in, ran to my room – stared at myself in the mirror and smiled. I smiled because I was staring at a girl that was more confident, and gleaming from head to toe. A girl who finally felt happy in her own skin. This was the first date where I didn’t end it thinking, “I wonder if he liked me?” To have such a successful first date after being out of the dating game for almost two months – was incredible.

So now we wait. I hate the “game” so much – but unfortunately you have to play a bit hard to get at the beginning! The hook is there, now just have to reel him in. I’ve decided I’ll wait for Mathew to write to me – but if he hasn’t reached out by Sunday I may shoot him a casual message. Unless you can think of a better post-first-date strategy to lock down Date #2?

Heating Up

After spending Thursday evening together, AB drove me home from his apartment at 11PM. We had a celebratory evening as he received a job offer that day! The cherry on top? I found out the company was a few minutes walking distance from the advertising agency. My bad boy took us cruising down the highway, had his one hand stroking up and down my thigh, while my body was moving back and forth to the dance remixes that were blasting through the speakers.

Since AB got let go from work, I’m happy to report that it has been a blessing in disguise and our relationship has continued to grow. At first it was upsetting for me to pass by his empty desk, but now I’ve accepted the fact that we no longer work together. I simply get more excited for the next opportunity I get to see him.

We were ten minutes away from the exit ramp to get to my house – when suddenly I hear a fairly loud thud. He continued to drive but the further we went we could hear the sounds getting worse. I was concerned and he also felt that something was wrong. Luckily – we were nearby another exit ramp so he took the ramp, pulled over to the side of the road and put his hazard lights on. He told me to stay in the car and got out to examine what was wrong. Sure enough, we had a flat tire. Shit! The wheel was really hot. AB had never changed a tire before, so he quickly called CAA. I could tell he was a bit freaked out / in a state of shock, so I stroked his arm to keep him calm. We found out that his families CAA membership had not been renewed – and unfortunately it couldn’t be done that night.

“You didn’t have to go to such an extent to spend more time with me, you know.”

AB laughed and kissed me.

We both had very little battery power left on our phones. I couldn’t believe this was happening! He called another roadside assistance company – and thankfully they were able to get to us twenty minutes after he made the call. I had to get out of the car while they switched the tire. They weren’t quite sure what it was, but think it could have been a nail which punctured the tire. It was pitch black out, and we were both being bitten alive by mosquitoes. We got back in the car around 12:15AM. I was barely able to direct us to my place from the exit we got off at (a combination of feeling beyond tired along with being very directionally challenged). However, we made it and I got home safely at 12:30AM.

We kissed goodnight. I got inside, set my alarm clock, turned out the lights and lay in bed smiling over how crazy of a day it had been.

As for what comes next, I’m not sure. I’ve never been in a long-term relationship, and I have no clue if he’s even open to an exclusive relationship. From everything I’ve shared thus far – it would seem there are strong indicators that he is moving towards that level with me. I’m still not sure if I’m ready to DTR (determine the relationship) – although it’s certainly something that could come up in the near future!

The Most Unconventional First Date

It had been almost 3 weeks since I started talking to my South African boy, Jon, on Tinder. Since my last blog post, A True South African Gentleman, we continued talking on a daily basis through Skype and text. The more we talked, the more I felt like we had known each other forever. However, I also started growing a bit tired of our online relationship. I didn’t want what we had to turn into another one of my hopeless fantasies that would never result in anything.

Living about an hour away from each other wasn’t ideal, but Jon and I were both interested enough to make things work. He had gotten into a pretty serious accident and hurt his back around when we first started talking, so he still wasn’t completely comfortable driving on his own just yet. Jon told me that his sister offered to drive the both of them to my area. When he suggested that to me, I wasn’t quite sure what to say. It was about time we had our first date, yet if his sister came along it could make things a bit awkward and also make her feel like a bit of a third wheel. After a long period of contemplation, I decided to have them both over to my house Saturday evening.

When Saturday arrived, I was pretty nervous. I think I changed my outfit at least five times, and my nails have never gone through so many colour changes within an hour. I had actually planned a special surprise for them. My dad offered to cook up a South African delicacy, boerewors (which is a type of sausage).

So yes, I know what you’re thinking. We pretty much fast tracked ten dates for our first ever face to face meeting.

Jon and his sister arrived and my heart felt like it was beating out of my chest. I hugged him and his sister hello. Jon then presented me with a bouquet of beautiful lilacs and I smiled bashfully. He admitted his sister had helped pick out the flowers, which was so incredibly sweet.

We went out to my backyard and my dad had started cooking on the BBQ. I made the introductions. It was so much for me to take in at once. Yet, surprisingly it wasn’t as awkward as you may think. In fact, the four of us got into great conversation right away and it felt like we had all known each other for quite some time. Jon and his sister were grinning at one another as soon as they smelled the boerewors (they knew what it was instantly).

After dinner, my dad left and I opened up a bottle of ice wine for the three of us to share. I gave Jon my guitar and he started playing some of his own, original music as the sun was fading. It was so romantic, although I couldn’t get completely into the moment as his sister was sitting behind him. She was just relaxing and had her eyes closed, so at points of the evening it did feel like it was just the two of us. I sang along with him to ‘Yellow’ by Coldplay, and he even taught me a few of the chords which are perfection. Seriously, the most beautiful guitar chords I’ve ever heard. He’s such an incredible guitarist (I told him he needs to get his own YouTube channel going). After Jon gave us a little show, he passed it along to his sister for her to play a song.

I have a chimineya in my backyard, so at that point we decided to get a fire going. Jon started placing the firewood inside the pit. It was mesmerizing to watch the fire flutter back and forth and seeing little sparks exiting the pit, within seconds disappearing into thin air. The smell of the firewood was heavenly. We made some s’mores and afterwards Jon and I went to lie on my hammock. His sister was on her phone so we just went over. I colossally failed the first time around as I jumped onto the hammock and managed to do a complete 360 degree turn and toss myself over the other side. We just laughed it off and then positioned ourselves comfortably onto the hammock and were lying in each others arms. His head rested on mine and my one hand lay on his chest. He told me he could fall asleep right then and there. It was so perfect. In that moment, I felt like he was my boyfriend. His sister had gone to the washroom for quite some time as we were lying there. We looked at each other at certain moments and I thought of kissing him. However, I decided to wait. It was just the first date, and I wanted to share that moment when it was just the two of us and no one else around.

His sister came over to join us after a little while (dragged a lawn chair over to the hammock and lay facing us). We kept talking and laughing, and the more we talked, the more similarities I discovered. Around 10:30pm the mosquitoes had done an excellent job of attacking his sister and I, so we quickly brought everything inside. We moved into the living room and he had his arm around me on the couch, even with my dad hanging around the house.

Despite it being such a nontraditional first date, it somehow just felt right. Totally worth the 10+ mosquito bites. He texted me on the car ride home saying how incredible I was and thanked me again. It was so sweet and genuine and I couldn’t wipe away the large grin from my face.

As my dad and I got comfortable to watch the latest Hell’s Kitchen episode, we noticed Jon’s wallet had fallen out of his pocket and was tucked into the couch!

I quickly texted him: You totally left your wallet on purpose to see me again, right? ;)

Jon: Oh crap! I like having a great excuse like that.

He couldn’t get anyone to drive him back the next day. However, his mom was visiting their family friends in my area the following day so I just dropped it off there.

I’m really looking forward to seeing him again. Hopefully it’ll just be the two of us next time! The only thing that worries me is the hour distance between us. Do you think I should be concerned about that?

12AM by the Fireplace. Meow.

Last night I received a text message from French Fry boy. Let’s call him Matt. You can get a bit of a recap from my blog posts, I Fed Him French Fries for Crying Out Loud! and I’m Just a Playful Girl at Heart.

To summarize, I started talking to Matt at the beginning of January and there was an immediate attraction from both sides. He had just gotten out of a pretty long term relationship so we casually hung out a few times over the next month. By casual, I mean either hanging out at one of our houses or occasionally going out mini-putting or tobogganing. Whenever I was around him, he made me feel like a giddy school girl. Still, at the same time he scared me, as he had quite a bit more sexual experience and I felt our relationship was progressing faster than I was used to. In fact, further than I had gone with any relationship in the past. I liked where it was going, although I wasn’t ready to give myself for the first time to a guy who I didn’t sense was ready to be exclusive. I knew it would be absolutely heart breaking if he were to just drop me for the next girl afterwards. I went at a pace I was comfortable with. Then, when I got back from my trip to the Caribbean in February, he made no effort to see me. In all fairness, we were both very busy with finishing up the last few months of school. Still, the fact that nothing came of our relationship once I got back was upsetting, but I accepted it.

Matt and I continued talking casually through text – a bit more frequently as of a month ago. Things had calmed down for both of us school wise. I really didn’t think anything more would happen between us up until last night when he asked me if I wanted to hang out as his mom was out of town. His friend was coming in from Burlington to visit him around 7PM so he’d let me know when he’d be free to pick me up. I messaged him around 9PM to let him know my parents would be out between 9:30-11:30PM and that he should just come over to hang out with me. I didn’t get any response. I was waiting and waiting and still, at 11PM I hadn’t heard from him. I couldn’t believe it and was ready to officially write him off when he messaged me at 11:30PM saying he had just dropped his friend off at the bus stop. Matt asked if he could pick me up to go over to his house for an hour or two and then he’d drop me back off at my house.

I was thinking about it and first off, I wasn’t sure how comfortable I felt with him driving me if he had just been smoking weed with his friend. Secondly, I wondered what his intentions were for wanting me over to his house while his mom was away (aside from trying to get in my pants). So I gave him an ultimatum saying either he could come over to my house or it just wouldn’t happen.

Matt was trying so hard to convince me he wouldn’t ever do anything to make me feel uncomfortable. However, I stood my ground and stayed with my ultimatum. He was on the fence about it as he didn’t want my parents to catch us doing anything. I assured him my family would be fast asleep by the time he got to my house. He ultimately caved in… I couldn’t believe it. I was nervous and excited. I made sure all the lights were out upstairs. My parents had gone to bed and he got to my house at 12AM. Yeah, I know it’s late. Still, I didn’t care what time it was. I just really wanted to see him.

I waited by the front door for him and 10 minutes later he showed up. Immediately I was all giddy again (trying to still remain sexy and composed). I literally pounced on him when he walked in, gave him a hug, and in that moment it really felt like it hadn’t gone any longer than a week since I’d last seen him. We tip toed into my basement and plopped onto the couch. One of my kittens followed us into the basement and jumped onto Matt’s lap. All of a sudden, my kitten went ballistic and started digging into him and rolling in circles as if he was high off of catnip. I said:

“Wow, he must really like you.”

Matt: “It seems that way. Meow.”

“I’ve never seen him go this crazy. Do you think he’s smelling something on your pants?”

Matt: “Maybe it’s the weed from earlier.”

“Hahaha.”

Could the smell of weed really have the same effect as catnip? Who knows. Still, we both got a kick out of it. Then I joked around that my kitten was getting more attention than me so I moved the kitten upstairs and closed the door to the basement. Finally.

The pure, innocent angel in me was saying to just take things slow. However, the devilish, inner vixen was saying to turn out the lights, put the fireplace on and pounce on him. I decided to put the fireplace on and dim the lights. I joined him back on the couch and we talked for quite awhile. We seemed so comfortable around each other and I felt really relaxed. However, the more we were talking the more I wanted to kiss him. I could tell he was being hyper vigilant. I said:

“Afraid my dad’s going to come down with a gun?”

Matt: “Noooooo.”

“So then. Why are you being so good?”

Matt: “I’m always good. An angel, really.”

“Is that so?”

I decided not to get all Fifty Shades of Grey at this point in my blog post. What I can say, is that he was certainly a good teacher! ;) I also ended up with a temporary tattoo on my lower back (a snake). We were just having fun and he continued at a pace I was comfortable with. He gave me a goodnight kiss by my front door and left around 3:30AM. I was pretty flushed and overall I was exuding happiness.

I told Matt that the next time we go out he needs to surprise me with something special planned, so hopefully he will stick to that. I still haven’t heard from him since last night but hopefully he’ll get back into gear this time around and continue making the effort to see me.

So when do you think is the right time to ask him if he is seeing anybody else?
